Legit Work at Home Jobs

Posted on July 24th, 2008 in Legit Work At Home Jobs by TheGadgitech

Who actually hires people to work at home? This is the question that thousands of people ask everyday. So many are skeptical, searching and finding scams, questioning if they even do exist. To answer the question, YES they do exist! Who hires ? Third party companies that handle many bigger companies for their customer service among other duties. For instance, they handle inbound customer service calls for companies like AARP, Pro-Flowers, and Toys-R-Us. But you can’t just go to the “big” companies to get a work at home job. They outsource all of the “work at home” jobs to 3rd party companies.

When working, you are still representing the major company. Answering calls with their company name and abiding by their protocol. However, you won’t have to drive anywhere or dress up to do the job. You just need a land based home phone, high speed internet, and of coarse your up to date computer. You also won’t have to work a specific day to day schedule with most companies. You will be making your own schedule to work around your lifestyle. When you need time off for a family event, you won’t even have to beg your boss for time off, just schedule around it yourself!

Buy now you are asking “who are the 3rd party companies that hire?” Well there are several. Over 45 that I have found so far. These companies are totally legit, pay on time, and have great training. I have spent many hours myself searching for the best companies to work with online and put them into a download able list. Now, like anybody, my time also has a value. I only ask for a one time 2.97 to download this list. I also send out updates when I get contacted about new jobs and who is hiring the most. The updates are free and will be sent to the email you register with. If you really want a good legit work at home job with a real regular paycheck, then download the list and start applying for the best work at home jobs on the internet! Geez…it’s only 2.97 and will save you a whole lot of time.

Work at Home - Time Freedom

Posted on July 8th, 2008 in Legit Work At Home Jobs by TheGadgitech

As a work at home agent, I have found that one of the best benefits is the ability to make my own schedule. By being able to choose the time of day and length of work blocks, I find scheduling around my life events very pleasing. I don’t have to ask anybody to take a day off or work a long hard day if I choose. I just do it.

A flexible work schedule can mean the difference between your kids being raise by you or someone else. I know a lot of people only make $500 a week and pay $200 of that to a daycare center, and another $50 or so for gas. That just sucks. Not to mention the about 10 hours a day your away from home.

I know thousands of people want the same lifestyle and work at home job as I do. You search till you think they just don’t exsist. Well, I am living proof that they do exsist…. and lots of them! I worked with 4 companies over the past two years, 3 just to check them out and one that I stayed with for quite a while. It paid $14 per hour to sit at home and handle tech support via the internet and my home phone for a major satellite TV company. The others paid $6 to $12 per hour and were very easy jobs.

The companies are real and so are the paychecks that come every two weeks. Why are they soooo hard to find? With literally thousands of people wanting a work at home job, these companies would be flooded with applicants if they advertised this type of employment. They would have to pay people to sift through lots of applications, of which a lot would not qualify for one reason or another. You would be suprised at how many apply that don’t have a home phone or their own computer. It wastes their time and the qualified applicants have to wait in line till the bogus are thrown out.

How did I find these jobs you ask??? The truth is, I have been into computers and the internet since 1980….. I grew up with it. Now not to brag or pat myself on the back, I am just very fortunate to have the knowledge of how search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN works. Given that, it still took me 3 months searching about 10 hours a day to sift through all of the crud out there and find the real legit work at home jobs. Wow, looking back it was a whole lot of work just finding a job on the net to work at home.

I continued to search even after I started working for one of the top companies in the US as a work at home agent. I found exactly what to look for and knew what words to use when searching. I found over 45 companies that hire work at home agents. Some are customer service, data entry, secretarial, virtual assistants, medical transcribing, and more. I have compiled a list of the top companies in a pdf format for download. If I offer it for free, which I did for a very short time, the companies get overwhelmed and shut the doors for a while. So, to weed out the not so serious and those who are not properly prepared to work at home, a small one time processing fee of $2.97 is required to download the list. Not much, but slows it down considerably. I only want qualified people who are very serious about working at home with a real job to apply with these companies. If that’s you, then go ahead and download the list today and start applying for your work at home position now!

Work at home agents - Applications Process

Posted on June 20th, 2008 in Legit Work At Home Jobs by TheGadgitech

The “Work at home agents” application process starts with the application and resume. Matching your talents and expertise is crucial in the hiring stages. Selecting the “right job” for you will be the first thing on your to do list. Then your resume needs to shine with all of your experience and special fields of knowledge. Make sure you are qualified for the position to be applied for.

If your applying for a position as a customer service rep to work at home, that company wants to know how much experience you have in dealing with customers, complaints, resolutions, etc. The field is pretty wide for this area. If you have worked anywhere that required you to deal with the public, that’s customer service. Retail shops, fast food, service techs, etc.

Make yourself stand out above all the other applicants by stressing your strong points. Your resume doesn’t need to be a book, just a page is fine. Just imagine what they go through. Mine were all short and to the point. I got hired by 4 companies in the last year, so you can too. Just think if you had 200 resumes to look at today, which ones would you pick to fill 20 spots?

Now as harsh as the amount of apps daily sounds, be patient. With so many wanting a real work at home job, it takes some time to get noticed with some companies. Just keep checking back with them to see where you stand. They also want to be assured you will actually take a work at home job serious. For most people it sounds like a dream come true. And it is. But you will have to prove that you will treat it just like any other job, and work with respect to the company and it’s customers. Proper equipment and work space, and a quiet office is definitely required for most cs jobs.

After over a year as a work at home agent, I will say that the freedom to make your own schedule to work has to be the greatest benefit outside of saving gas and more time with your family. I made minimum wage to over $18 per hour working at home. Lol Who else wants to work at home?

Everybody I think! So get started, download the list with 45 companies that hire work at home agents.

Work at Home - The Fruits of our Labor

Posted on June 6th, 2008 in Legit Work At Home Jobs by TheGadgitech

I have been self employed for over 30 years now. Ok, I did have regular drive to work jobs at times, but for the most part I have been my own boss. I have had several successful businesses, from auto upholstery to copier service and computer repairs, I did what paid at that time. And I still do. When I was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder, the doc’s told me to take it easy for a while. At that time, I was a self employed satellite sales and installation tech making about $1200 a week. I took the doc’s advice, and shut down my business.

I needed to make money at home. Not just a few bucks here and there, but real money like I had before. I wanted a paycheck for a job well done. So I searched and searched some more for legit work at home jobs. As I started finding real companies to work with at home, I applied for some. I was hired and started working at home using my computer and home phone to answer and handle customer service calls for various companies. It was pretty cool and I received paychecks every two weeks.

I have since worked with four companies totally on the internet from home. I was paid anywhere from $5.85 to $14 per hour. How cool is that? I didn’t even have to dress up or start my car. After a year of working online as a “work at home agent”, I decided to go back into business again, but working smarter instead of harder. That’s when this website was started. To show people you too can do as I did. Work at home. Now, the website doesn’t quite  bring in the kind of money I’m used to, so the upholstery company and computer company are starting back up again.

I hope this inspires others to do the same and go for your dreams. Your whole life is about choices. You can choose to do what you want and be prosperous, or you can just keep doing what you are now and your life will stay the same as well.  The list of companies who hire work at home agents is compiled of 45 real, legit, big fortune 500 companies that need more people to work at home for various jobs. Legit Virtual Jobs - Taking Action!

Posted on May 4th, 2008 in Legit Work At Home Jobs by TheGadgitech

Working at home with a virtual job has been such a blessing. I make my own schedule, work when I want, take off when I want. When you experience the freedom of a real job working in your own home office, you will never want to go back to the day to day grind of driving to a conventional job. Take action for yourself and your family and work at home.

With more and more companies following this trend, opportunities are on the rise for people to jump on the band wagon. My family works for one of the top companies outsourcing jobs to home workers. We take customer service calls for well known companies and organizations like AARP, Pro-Flowers, and Toys-R-Us. It’s very enjoyable to help people with their orders and questions. I would say the best feature is being able to make our own schedule to work around family time and events.

Landing a virtual job with one of these companies is not as hard as one might think. Your resume needs to be very specific as to your expertise. For call center work, express your knowledge and history in customer service. If you are a transcriber, then list your talents in that field. You basically want to show these employers what you are good at, just like if you were applying for a job in the corporate world. As with any job application, most of the virtual companies will also do an interview with you. Instead of dressing up and meeting the interviewer in person, it will be done by phone.

Bottom line is, if you are truly qualified for a particular position with a regular company, then you also have a very good chance of being hired to work at home as well. Be friendly, be yourself, and be professional. That’s what any employer wants for their work force. A cheerful person who knows their business and one that will project that confidence to the customers. Take action and be the next in the work at home force. For your family, and your own peace of mind. Start enjoying the freedom of your own work at home job today!

Work at Home - Only for the Serious

Posted on May 3rd, 2008 in Legit Work At Home Jobs by TheGadgitech

I know how many people are searching for a real work at home job. I do the research. This year alone, over 15,000 people have visited my site looking for a work at home job. That’s just one site! When I say thousands are looking, it’s an understatement. What I see is a lot of people looking instead of taking action. I was hired by four different companies in the past year. Why you ask and how? Because I took action! Now, I am somewhat of an internet guru so to speak. I know what words to use in a search box, and I know exactly what to look for. It took me three months at ten hours a day to find legit companies to earn a real every two week paycheck. And I know what I’m doing!

  • Woman to virtual ex: 'I won't be ignored!'
This has to be the weirdest and saddest crime-of-virtual-passion story I've come across. Kimberly Jernigan--a 33-year-old woman from North Carolina--was apparently distraught after her online relationship with a 52-year-old man from Claymont, Del., came to an end. The pair apparently met through the online community Second Life and began a virtual relationship. The two finally met in reality several months ago, and the alleged victim ended the relationship, sending Jernigan into a downward spiral. Kimberly Jernigan met her virtual ex-boyfriend in Second Life.(Credit: CBS3.com) In early August, Jernigan allegedly drove to the victim's Pennsylvania workplace and attempted to kidnap him at gunpoint, according to local news station CBS3.com. When she was unsuccessful, according to the report, she returned two weeks later to track down the victim's Delaware address, and posed as a postal worker to do so. After four days of searching, authorities said she found residence in the Whitney Presidential Towers on the 7100 block of Society Drive in Claymont. On August 21, police said, Jernigan broke into the unnamed victim's apartment with a Taser, a pair of handcuffs, a BB gun, her dog, and a roll of duct tape. He wasn't there, so she waited. When the virtual ex arrived home he saw what looked like a laser beam projecting on his chest. He immediately fled the apartment and contacted the Newcastle County Police. ...
